IMPORTANT 2013 STUDENT LOAN TAX INFORMATION
If one or more of your Edsouth loans were transferred from Edfinancial Services to American Education Services (AES) in 2013, you may view your tax information using one of the methods below. Please note that the tax information you receive from Edfinancial Services will only reflect qualifying payments made to Edfinancial Services from January 1, 2013 through the date your loan(s) were transferred.
If you paid more than $600 in student loan interest to Edfinancial Services in 2013, Edfinancial Services will mail a paper copy of the IRS Form 1098-E to you no later than January 31, 2014.
If you paid less than $600 in student loan interest to Edfinancial Services in 2013, you may access your tax information by calling the Edfinancial Services automated phone system at 1-800-337-6884.

Edsouth loans are no longer serviced by Edfinancial Services. Relative to the type of student loan you have (it will either be Federal or Private), please refer to the contact information below to reach the servicer that manages your loan information:
If your loan is FEDERAL (FFELP), your servicer is either AES (American Education Services), Georgia Student Finance Commission, or Great Lakes
If your loan is PRIVATE, your servicer is SLFC (Student Loan Finance Corporation)
