SOS counselors are available to conduct free presentations on a variety of topics throughout the state of Tennessee. Thousands of K-12 students and parents benefit each year from these informative sessions, which can be customized to address the needs of specific grade levels or interest groups, by helping to demystify the college planning process.
Our calendars do fill up quickly and availability is on a first-come first-served basis. Contact your area representative as far in advance as possible to schedule a presentation.
Faculty and Staff Training for Career Education
The Tennessee College and Career Planning System Powered by Kuder provides students with a lifelong portfolio including career, interest, and skills assessments. The SOS staff is available to educators across the state of Tennessee to conduct in-depth training for educators on how to administer these FREE assessments to students, interpret and utilize the results, and report statistical data for administrative purposes such as grant proposals and gap analyses.
