Edscholar is a scholarship program designed to recognize and reward outstanding students seeking higher education in Tennessee. The Edscholar program underwrites tuition expenses for qualified incoming freshmen at eligible colleges and universities statewide.
Since the program's inception in 2003, over $12,000,000 in scholarship money has been awarded to over 850 students at 59 two and four year institutions in Tennessee.
The Edscholar program is a way to transform promising young Tennesseans into the leaders of their generation. Funding for this program has been made possible by Educational Services of America (a.k.a. Edsouth), along with additional donations previously received from Edamerica, Edfinancial Services, and Educational Funding of the South.
