Eric Stewart is Vice President and Controller of Educational Funding of the South, Inc. ("Edsouth") with principal offices located at 178 North Seven Oaks Drive, Knoxville, TN 37922. Mr. Stewart joined Edsouth in 2009, having previously worked for more than 6 years as controller for Edfinancial Services, Inc., a student loan servicer in the Federal Student Loan Program.
Mr. Stewart holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He has more than 20 years of accounting experience and has served as a controller for various organizations since 1997. He is also a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
