Ron Gambill was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Educational Funding of the South, Inc. ("Edsouth") in 2006. Previously, he served as President from 2003-2006 and was Senior Vice President for Government and Guaranty Agency Relations from 2002-2003. Mr. Gambill has served as a Director on the Edsouth Board since its beginning. Prior to joining Edsouth, he was Executive Director of the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation for over 17 years and served as a financial aid director for Nashville State Technical Institute for over 11 years before his appointment to TSAC. Mr. Gambill serves on the Board of the National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs and has for several years. He currently serves on the Executive Boards of the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Tennessee Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. He holds a Bachelor's degree from David Lipscomb University and a Master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
